If I win this auction for say $600, get a box cheap, and get it wrapped by BBCE, could I then sell it for say a $1000 and still see a decent profit?

This right here. Although your thirst for knowledge is understood, I'd imagine you just put the squeeze on any potential margin.

<< <i>This seller has sold several of these lots previously, also. >>
How would someone come across so many loose packs. I don't see much any handling wear on the packs. Maybe they were trays or racks at one time?
<< <i>I'm pretty sure the seller has used the same picture for all of his lots he has sold. I've seen this one in an earlier auction. >>
Correct. The packs may be fine but I'd feel more confident as a buyer if photos weren't stock photos, were more detailed and the packs came with the original boxes.

Especially when the last few have been changing hands at under $900USD, over 10% off from where they peaked last year.

Tim, I am starting to think you just may know your stuff when it comes to unopened.
I just wish you collected football as well so I could pry even more knowledge out of you than I already have.
