It really depends what year you want to rip, but in general racks should be the best. Cello it depends how tightly they were wrapped for a given year. For anything up to about 1985, it's much more cost effective to rip sets.

The consensus is that rack packs are the best...in general. If you do a site search this topic has been brought up many times. A lot of info. Also, there should be a lot of info and opinions from those that we no longer hear from as much if at all.

Rack packs are definitely your best bet. Cellos can muck up corners depending on the tightness of the wrap. Vending can have more corner issues than the others and wax is hit and miss, but the gum can wreak havoc.

1983 Topps Michigan Wax Packs are a fun and reasonably priced rip that doesn't present a lot of the condition issues of the other packs in that era
