ebay bucks deal should get you at roughly $44 under spot

Corona

$1,232.78 currently
5x points earns $100.00

coin is 0.9802 AGW so it's spot would be 0.9802 x 1200.80 currently spot = $1,177.024

1177.024 +100 bonus bucks = 1277.024 1277.024 - 1232.78 = 44.24 below spot

I was thinking about that one

It doesn't have gold content on it, so I went for a 1ozer for about $20 under

Thanks. They were $1,234.11 when I purchased one. Subtract $100 in ebay bucks, $12.34 with Mr. Rebates and $18.51 from my credit card company and my net was $1,103 or $74 under melt.

With 2% in eBay bucks, 1% MrRebates and 1% CC rewards that takes the price down to $1186 or so. You can buy them from their website for the same price. Unless you were really wanting them, it's no big deal.

I agree. The Maple seems a better deal.

On the Maple the 4% for eBay bucks, CC reward points and MrRebates wil get you that Maple for about the same as the special price last Friday. Shud get mine tomorrow. Mine is 2015, those in the ad are random year.

The 3 random year Maples I ordered in February ended up being 2015's.

The ones offered last Friday, Feb 27 were 2015s. The ones in this thread are random year coins.

About mid-February, APMEX had 2015 Maples for $8 over spot.image

My net cost for a corona was $1103 ($100 ebay bucks, 1% MrRebates and 1.5% CC). That surely beats the price on their website.

True, but if you didn't have those incentives you'd have to really want them to buy either deal. I never get such good eBay bucks offers.image

The best I could do with the incentives available to me doesn't warrant either the Corona or the Maple.

I'm talking earlier in February. My 3 Maples came from Silvertowne via ebay on February 14th, cost a net of $1,196, were billed as random year and showed up as 2015's.

Indeed, without the incentives I would not have purchased the 2 coronas tonight. It helps to have multiple accounts to attract the offers.

This 4 Ducat Gold is a good buy, IMO.

A 1/4 Gold Britannia is not bad either.

    I caved and bought one.

    I'll delay other purchases.

Though there's lots of gold to be sold in the next month by the mint.
