Was sorting through some packs this afternoon, and came across this one~a pack that was originally part of a 1980 Topps baseball wax tray I owned that had a tear along the bottom of the tray, so I decided to open the tray one night and rip the packs to go for the Hendeson RC but this pack had other ideas and refused to go to unopened pack heaven, LOL..

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

but don't think I have ever had a pack like that. Maybe it's more common in the trays?

<< <i>How common is it for the back card to be facing out like that? Haven't opened much early 80's Topps

Very common on 1980 Topps baseball wax packs. Virtually all packs feature card face out on back, as do most packs from the 1970s, as well.

Sure post count whore.
Legit trays are great for getting unmolested packs as they are the closest thing to getting packs out of a box from a sealed case.
