I checked my PM file and it's loaded with members I haven't seen for ages. Some have left - not due to CU - but have just left the hobby to pursue other avenues.
Beachbum - aka Mike - was a real character, however interesting while being controversial. When the Open Forum was extant, he once pissed off a whole hoard to coin guys incessantly responding to their posts with Haikus.
While I might be tempted to lament their disappearance, it belies the fact that we've gained so many good people over the past few years.
