Did the PRINT button disappear from the BIN auctions now?

Was surfing eBay last couple days, looking at some various BIN items to look at prices and I can't find the print button anymore

Have they closed that door on us?

They closed the door on THAT aspect. Someone in an earlier thread found a cheat involving the UK site.

Go to this link. Delete the item number and insert the item number you are interested in.

i guess i'm dumb - delete the item number from where? the link goes to the ripken card with the price showing.

if i click to go back to search results and enter any number, i only get the line through price, not the actual sales price.

    what am i doing wrong?

Delete the item number from your top "search" field. The place where you put in what website you want to go to. Just copy and paste.

For example, in the link I provided the item number is - 371220155052. Delete that item number and put in the item number you are interested in.

I think WatchCount still works for this, too. I have no idea why eBay ever starting hiding Best Offer sold prices. Just another in a very long line of stupid moves they've made over the years.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

I know I've seen no less that 10-15 threads about this topic, and forgive me if I missed it, but WHY does eBay try so hard to keep this information private? Why do they care?

Looks like they spend more time on "shill bidding" than this topic.

Somehow they seem to view it as private between the buyer and seller. The seller wants it private so buyers don't see big discounts and then expect them. And with eBay getting a cut, I guess they feel the same way.

Wouldn't VCP capture the actual sale price of a best offer BIN on ebay?

  • PaulMaulPaulMaul Posts: 4,891 ✭✭✭✭✭
eBay supplies VCP with this info...but I believe it takes about a month for them to get it.

One thing I have used (not sure if it still works), is to look at "completed items" and then sort by lowest to highest or vice versa. The best offer sold price will be in the correct spot on the list. Of course, this is only useful if there are other ended items somewhat near what the particular card sold for.

I'm thinking ebay put the kibosh on this for the UK site too; when I go to the UK site and plug in the item # it only shows me the buy it now price with a line through it and not what it sold for ie the best offer price; anyone else having this problem??

You have to do exactly what is described above, i.e.

Have not found the "print" link on any "Best Offer" I've checked. Am I missing something?

ebay removed it a few weeks ago - seems permanent.

Above link is a good workaround, and even shows more item information.
