1796 Draped Bust Large Cent, LIHERTY, S-104, R.3, PCGS G06.....HOLD

An outstanding example for the grade of this popular Red Book variety. Smooth, natural steel-brown surfaces with just some light contact marks and some barely noticeable hairlines on the obverse, but nothing out of line for this grade level. Strong detail on each side and better balanced in this regard than most Sheldon 104's, including many higher grade pieces. Definitely a "keeper" example of the LIHERTY variety and one we feel is fully deserving of a VG grade.

1876-CC $20 Gold Liberty, Type Two, PCGS XF45.....$3300

Fresh from a very old accumulation of coins, this is a refreshingly original and attractive example of this popular Carson City issue. Natural, slightly greenish gold surfaces with rosy copper luster in the protected areas. Circulation marks and hairlines in the fields commensurate with the grade, but there are no individually detracting marks. Somewhat difficult to image (for me, at least), the color and luster even more pleasing in hand than in the photos. I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised seeing the coin in person. Borderline AU in all respects.
