Trick for finding Ebay BIN sold for price

They don't show it on US site, but you can access the same item # via their UK website.

just enter in: http://item.ebay.co.uk/<insert ebay item # here>

for example,

this 2001 heritage ripken chrome ended on a bin:

ripen with unknown BIN

same card accessed via uk site:
uk site

You used to be able to click on the "printable view" button and it would show the actual sold price, but it appears that they got rid of that button completely. Boo...

i am hopeful the reason this works is that there are local laws in the uk requiring this information be shown.....that way they cannot close this loophole.

It's been working well on just about all the foreign ebay sites since back when the USA ebay site quit letting you see it. So, it is not unique that UK keeps it available, but instead that only the USA ebay site prevents it. You've always been able to switch it to any other country and see the accepted offer price, whether you go with item.ebay.ca, .de, .fr, .co.uk, .it, .es, etc.
