1977 Andre Dawson Post Card

This post card was on ebay a week or so ago. Shame it wasn't in better shape. I believe there are 2 Andre Dawson's in the 1977 Montreal Expos Post Card set. Or perhaps there were 2 Expos post card sets that year as this one that is listed as "with batting helmet".

These 1977 Dawson post cards do not come up often. I'm talking every couple years, not months from following my saved searches. Have a looksy:

I collect Gary Carter so I run into a good bit of Dawson Expos stuff. Some of these are tough to find, there are a couple of Carter's that I have not been able to find unsigned and personalized. My favorite part of these kinds of oddballs is that the search never really ends because each time I scratch one off the list I seem to discover another that I never knew existed.

Auction. I was the underbidder. I would have bid double or triple if it was in better shape. Maybe the next one in 3 years that pops up will be nicer.

Agree 100% with this. Every time I think I've found all the Team Issues, I discover another that I never knew existed.
