Is this a legit Ruth Goudey?

Ruth

Always wanted a Ruth and this may fit my budget if it is real. Thoughts?

I don't like it. The print on the back is too crisp for the wear and the spacing of the back text seems off (too much whitespace at the bottom). I would guess it's a roughed up reprint.

I would say no. The corners look too perfectly rounded.

Looks like dirt was purposely rubbed on the edges, and dirt is actually caked on in the spots where the artificial wear is heavier, on both the front and the back of the card.

You can see near the top on the front where they missed some small spots and it is white.

Then you have the big brown spot on the bottom left that is probably from a flame, or coffee.

Why waste your money...you don't need it that bad where you have to take a risk(a bad risk at that).

Inking height and registration shifts on the front are incorrect and the red nameplate is too aligned given the other shifts. Additionally, the stock is not consistent with the issue as seen at point of wear and at the points of the crease breaks. I'd pass and not give it a second thought.
