Ding, ding, ding!!
Mike, I think it definitely has a shot. Back is centered 50/50. Color and gloss are terrific.

Here were the other highlights from the other two packs I opened. The Monday is a toughie in a 9. I am almost as excited about the Stanley as I am about the Carter~this card is typically found short in the pack with heavy PD but this one measures full size and has near perfect registration. A beast in a 9.

<< <i>Sweet looking Danny Meyer Rookie . Great color too, best of luck with the grade. >>
Thanks, Doug!

Opened 2 78 wax packs but nothing really worth scanning other than a decently centered Pete Rose.
1 pack of 77 OPC was also a bust save for an OC Tom Seaver.
I think I'm going to quit while I'm still (possibly) ahead and hope for a good march special.
Thanks to all for the kind words and good luck wishes!

I never comment on the rip threads...but read pretty much every one of them. I've seen all these cards a million times in my life, but I still gravitate toward them on these threads...and it really does make me appreciate the commons, considering I never even gave them a second thought back in the day.
Thanks, fellas~appreciate all the kind words! Will post the grade results when they come in~hoping for a decent March special.
