Just received a signed baseball of Dave Stewart from Tristar. It was a mail order from their latest show. On my order in the message section I told them to put the inscription under the signature on the sweet spot. All my signed baseballs that I own have the inscriptions under the signature and I wanted this ball to match in my display case. I paid top dollar for this $69.00 . The ball arrived with the inscription over the name plus the signature looks a little suspect. I met Dave at the 1989 World Series reunion last year and had him sign a baseball the signature looks different from the one I received from the mail order. I realize that signatures will vary from time to time but the one I got in person looks the same as all the Dave Stewart signatures on Ebay. I will try to post a photo of both baseballs but I am a novice on the computer. I complained and wanted to return ball for refund but they told me that they couldn't guarantee location of inscriptions and basically told me I was out of luck. They told me to send a picture and they would try to locate another one. I don't know why they need a picture but I guess if they can't follow simple instructions they also can't visualize what the ball looks like from my description. I didn't complain to them about the difference in signatures just location of inscription. I never had any problems with other companies. I will never order from them again.
