Anyone buy from this seller? 1973 Topps set.

I just pulled the trigger on this set. I've always wanted a PSA 8 Schmidt and this set. Not sure what the condition will be but he does have a 14 day return policy. What do you think?

Looks like a solid raw set. He didn't tout it as mint or even nm-mt, so I don't think you have a valid reason to return unless the cards don't match the pics.

Good luck with the set. I saw it too but thought it was a bit rough outside of the Schmidt. However, that's a set that if you hit a few low pops in high grade, it can make the purchase price a real bargain.

I hope I didn't over pay. He sold a 1972 set as well. I figure the schmidt is worth $325 so I will have about the same in the rest of the set.

I checked it out last night too - I agree that you aren't risking much with the PSA 8 Schmidt, and also agree that it looked a bit rough otherwise. Looked like about one nice card per 9 card sheet (although unfortunately not many of the stars), so am sure there will be a few nuggets in there. Not much risk here - and probably an easy set to cull and flip.

Good luck with it I hope your happy with it. If need be you can always upgrade some of the cards if it isn't to bad. Keep us posted on how you make out. Went back and looked again, what is that line across the hat of Ron Cey? Anyone else see it?
