Desert Shield Topps set on Pawn Stars

So this guy if offering to sale his complete set on Pawn Stars right now--asking 8K. Wonder if they will reach a deal...
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

Expert helping Rick found that the Chipper Jones RC was not embossed--just a regular Topps card--DOH!

Based on his response " I am sure I can find the correct version to replace the Chipper Jones" seemed fishy to me. He did not seem surprised the card was not the correct one, and either one of two things happened. He either switched out the Jones card hoping it would not be noticed, or he himself was duped when he got the set and was embarrassed to find out on national TV.

Reality TV has become an Orwellian term.

True, like when Steve Carrell came into the store, the store was cleared out basically for that shot.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Geez you'd think one of them could find a suit that fits for that shoot.

    100%

My family and I happened to be dining at the same restaurant that they were taping an episode of The Real Housewives of OC. They were just getting started when we got there and we sat 2 tables away. I always knew the show was completely bogus before seeing this, but I had no idea how much until watching the directors coaching the women on when to come in, how to walk and show some body language, what to say to the ladies when they got there and the ladies taking cues from them as they were ordering and eating. I also saw someone continuing to order liquor for them so that things could turn ugly. Guys would come in touching up makeup, hair, and when things got quiet, the director would cue them to spice it up. The worst part was seeing the lens right on me as they were filming from one angle despite my best efforts to move my chair to different places so I could be blocked
