Michael Jordan Photo

Just thought it was a great photo and thought others might enjoy. Look how high he is off the floor ... and he started that eventual dunk from the free throw line.

Brings back memories. I remember that photo very well. I'm wondering why guys don't try to imitate that dunk in contests. Maybe it's because......they can't do it like that?

  • That's a great image. It's the same one I chose to represent in my "Jordan Dunk Contest" set of framed photos in the man cave. These 3 represent the 1985 (middle, lost), 1987 (left, won), and 1988 (right, won) dunk contests.

Ryno ... nice set of pics!

Hey, let's not forget that it was a fellow Long Islander playing on an ABA team from Long Island who first started taking off from the foul line and dunking when MICHAEL was only 10 years old!!!

  • Thanks for the feedback on the Dunk Contests photos. There is so much cool Jordan stuff out there, picking the right pieces can be overwhelming.

Here is a framed piece I received as a gift when I was about 17 in about 1991. It's an iconic poster presented in a little different way with the 3 frames. I found it in my old closet in my parents house and decided to add it to the man/kid cave. It fits the space well I think.
