    It's not a fake card. It's a very poor quality picture of a stained card. The telltale reprint dot matrix pattern you think you're seeing is due to the poor quality of the picture and not the printing on the card.

    Notice how crisp and clear the picture of the flip looks. Then you have what looks like a Xeroxed photocopy of a card. I have seen legitimate poor quality/low grade 1952 Bowman Mantles. They look nothing like this one.

    The PSA label is not crisp and clear. It exhibits the same distorted dotty texture as what's affecting the image of Mantle next to it. The larger picture is particularly more distorted and looks more like a xerox copy you're judging it against. Most of the colored distortion goes away on the picture of both the card and label but it's still all distorted due to the quality of the picture. The picture of the back is unquestionably of a real card based on the texture of the paper and text qualities.
