I did a search on eBay for PCGS DMPL Morgan Dollars and have found a lot of listing like this one. Is it against eBay rules to put PCGS DMPL in the heading when the coin isn't PCGS DMPL? Just wondering.

<< <i>Yes, they have a policy against keyword spamming. On the far right, immediately above the description, is a report item link. >>
It's also against policy to list counterfeits. Likewise, it's also forbidden to put numeric grades in the title for coins not graded by one of the approved TPGs. Ebay has fine written policies that serve solely as CYAs for the corporation. Getting them to do anything about violations is the trick. Reporting an item has a very, very, very low chance of success. The fact that many of these violations could easily be prevented by simple checks in their software is further proof that Ebay doesn't really want to prevent them. C'est la vie...

does recognize them it appears. He often disagrees with the graders at PCGS it seems.
Yes, it is keyword spamming and just muddies the search....
I find that all the time when searching for CC dollars. Lots of folks like to put CC in the description as
a comparison or such and I often just scratch my head.......and move along.
