The owner 'twas me at one point in time. Bought it at the Santa Clara show years ago. Someone had clearly recently slabbed a 1949 D Mint Set card at PCGS. The dealer had 2 (obverse toned) Franklins (both MS65FBL) with this toning, a (predominantly reverse toned) MS65 Washington, and an obverse and a reverse toned Roosevelt, both MS66. I didn't have the scratch to afford all 5 of them, so I bought IMO the better of the two Franklins, e.g. the one you posted, the Washington, and both Roosevelts. I let PawPaul know about the other '49-D and he contacted the dealer and bought it. IMO both of the Franklins were quite beat up for 65's, although the toning was off the hook for a '49-D. I already had another '49-D in PCGS MS65FBL, that I quite liked, so I decided to sell this one to PawPaul also. Since that time I've sold the reverse toned Roosevelt, but I still own the Washington and the obverse toned Roosevelt. Here's an image of the above '49-D taken by Shane, as well as images of the Washie and the Roosie.
