image.... Not a Happy Camper Here. Personally I have No Use for the Over Dates and will Probably Never Buy Them. The Micro was OK by Me as it has Been a Recognized Variety and Not a Mint Error. Error Coins Belong in a Registry by Themselves.
Next I suppose the Double Die Merc's will be Added to Keep People from Finishing thier Sets.imageimage

        Policy Statement from David Hall:

A Message On Varieties From David Hall

        To All Set Registry Participants:

It appears the most controversial part of the Set Registry
is how we handle varieties. There are very strong feelings
on both sides of the question as to whether or not varieties
should be included in sets. Several very creative
alternative approaches have been suggested by our
Set Registry enthusiasts, including calling a non-variety
set 100% complete and calling a set that included varieties
        more than 100% complete.

All of the suggestions have mathematical and programming
problems for us and I don't think any of them will please
almost everyone. So, we think the best approach will be to
have two sets in the Registry...a "Basic" set that does not
include varieties, and a "Complete Set Including Varieties"
that includes the major varieties. This will allow someone,
who doesn't want to buy varieties to have the all-time finest,
100% complete 1932 to 1964 Washington Quarter Basic set (for
example), without the need to buy varieties. It will also
allow the person who does have the varieties to have the all-
time finest, 100% complete 1932 to 1964 Washington Quarter
        Complete, Including Varieties, set.

It's a little more work for us initially, but we feel that
this approach should please nearly everyone. Please give us
your feedback, and, assuming most everyone is in agreement,
we can get on down the highway and finish adding all U.S.
        coin sets to the Registry.

        One more thing...

We really appreciate all of your comments and help. BJ and I
have read every email you have sent to us. And Rick Montgomery
has read many of them. We don't have time to personally
respond to every email, so please accept out sincere THANKS
        for all your help.

        Enjoy your coins!

        David Hall

Here is the same statement! Today in the PCGS eCollector e-mail!

"We are in the process of weighting sets, removing varieties from Basic Sets, and adding Sets with Varieties. Previews of proposed weighting are posted on the Set Registry News page for at least a week prior to actually making the changes."

Spooly - Happy face done good today!!!!!!! Bear
There once was a place called
              Camelotimage
            4. I don't like the overdate additions, but already have a micro S! imageimage

Spooly, kudos to you; my twin quattro-face! imageimageimageimage

My week old updates updates finally kicked in and I'm Mark's neighbor again! image
I just got finished with entering the ones that they replaced into my second set. Perhaps I can be 2lab's neighbor again, also! image
2lab, or anyone liking white coins, you can do some shopping there, as all white ones are for sale.
I mention 2lab because there's some hole fillers there for you. image
Two other blast white ones yet to show up are a '29 MS65FB and a '36 MS64FB.
All Boring Blast White ones are @ grey sheet bid (6s @ blue)+$2.00 to help w/shipping/ins.

I also moved into another of Mark's neighborhoods. From two places up, couldn't help holding a carrot in front of him! LOL image

              Regards

              Don

              Winged Liberty lures and
              FULL Heads RULE!
            5. Has anyone emailed BJ about the second set, Non Variety? I was sure that this has been addressed for those of us that choose not to purchase the overdates. I hope it will come out in the next week or so.

Ken, hurry up and find those coins, I hated to see you drop like that.image

              Spooly, thanks for the post.

Good job to all that have updatess in thier sets!! image

That basic set and complete w/varieties set idea seems quite fair.
