ok so ive finally worked up the stones to open this psa 7 1972 series 5/6 wax pack...already busted it out of its case, so no backing out now! ripping shall commence around 1030 est!

thanks guys...i scored this one on ebay for well under retail last week; figured i only live once, may as well...ive wanted to open one of these since steve got them in stock almost 2 years ago

I was watching those~the seller had a run of PSA 7, 8 and 9 5th/6th series packs for sale, IIRC. The higher grade packs (8 and 9) had wrapper tears from the gum, or I'd have gone stronger than I did after them. Had I won, I'd have to open the pack, so now I get to see what was behind curtain no. 1~good luck!

Except for Drabowski and Corrales the centering looks pretty sweet so far.

Cards on top of other white bordered cards, plus the white background, is making for a tough view.

top left corner on dal canton has a slight touch, and there is an edge ding on the fran healey...otherwise sharp corners and smooth edges throughout

no star power but overall decent centering and sharp cards...havent checked to see if there are any low pops...had a blast opening as always
