Question about resubbing an "Authentic" pack

Has anyone resubbed an already slabbed wax pack that had no number grade, just "Authentic"? I want to get a number grade put on it, it's a pretty clean pack. In theory, wouldn't it just get graded and reslabbed at PSA since they've already authenticated it... and never go through Steve?

    Authentic packs are packs that were approved by Steve but that did not grade at the minimum grade requested. I would assume they'd be able to avoid sending it back to Steve for approval as he has already deemed the pack authentic and does not assign a grade anyway.


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    Thanks Tim, kinda what I was thinking/hoping. Forgot about minimum shipping though, so I might call them to confirm. Wouldn't be any point in sending it in solo if it's not a fast turn.
