Will this grade?

It obviously toned naturally in an old type set picture frame, but once it is removed from the holder, it loses its provenance and might be judged suspect. What do you think?

I think it will grade imo.
I say no grade.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
I think it will grade, but could take two or three tries. More than one or two attempts is hard to justify as it's pretty baggy. I'd definitely slab it reverse up.

Well said.
<< <i>That toning looks pretty erratic (a lot of sudden color shifts); PCGS tends to dislike this.

PCGS didn't have a problem with either of these and you could argue that the are "sudden color shifts" on these and both also look original to me (and PCGS seems to agree).

Yes reverse side up for sure!!! A very pretty coin and I don't see any problem with it grading.
