It seems like every single time their auctions have multiples in the same grade, the example that looks the nicest goes for WAY more. It is absolutely maddening.

the market for Yaz rookies has changed dramatically in recent years. i've watched quite a few auctions for this card and it seems that virtually every example being offered in PSA 8 has very prominent print defects, so the pursuit of an example with a clean surface and appearance has brought more sensitivity and perhaps desperation to the game.
over double the price of any other PSA 8 sold in the past several months. obviously, this one outstanding rookie card was coveted.
