Amazing. Jacking up the value of my 60 set.

I noticed that a Crandall PSA 8 went for over $1000 in the past week-different auction. That card is usually between $100-$150.

I saw that too. Maybe Yaz rcs are a little bit undervalued in high grade
  • WOW, I'm sure glad I picked mine up 3 years ag0 for my set.

That was a 'high end' one that brought that price. Another PSA 8 of the same card by the same seller brought half that.

It may be a high end but it was still graded recently psa 8 not 8.5...advertising sells I guess
  • It seems like every single time their auctions have multiples in the same grade, the example that looks the nicest goes for WAY more. It is absolutely maddening.

the market for Yaz rookies has changed dramatically in recent years. i've watched quite a few auctions for this card and it seems that virtually every example being offered in PSA 8 has very prominent print defects, so the pursuit of an example with a clean surface and appearance has brought more sensitivity and perhaps desperation to the game.

over double the price of any other PSA 8 sold in the past several months. obviously, this one outstanding rookie card was coveted.

Please refrain from ruining the integrity of the 99-cent auction format with outlandish statements like this.

They had a nicely centered PSA 8 Kaline, not sure wat final price was??
  • I am not saying that the Yaz rookie was not nice, I would have loved to have gotten that one, BUT, it did have a definite tilt.
