    Any list that has both Stargell and Brett in the top five, and ahead of Mike Schmidt can't be all bad.
    I guess I missed this thread when it was first posted.
    But maybe Rose gained a little too much on your revised list just because of longevity?

    On the revised list, Gene Tenace did plummet to where he belongs, from a score of 170 to 106.
    Dallas- why didn't you put a comment after his name?

    Gene Tenace- 106 Wow, he sucked a lot worse than I thought.

    Seriously, you're going to make both of these comments in a single post. But to answer your question, yes, Rose gained a lot because he played forever, and Tenace dropped a lot because he didn't play very long. I didn't put a comment because everyone understood that so it wasn't interesting.

    But yeah, I really enjoyed this thread. I think there are flaws with both the original and revised lists but between the two of them they paint an awfully good picture.

    This is for you @thisistheshow - Jim Rice was actually a pretty good player.
