Sorry, I can't help with the price, but I'm in the same boat as you are. It looks like his cards are red hot right now. I just want a non-auto PSA 10 2000 Pacific or low grade SP. Looks like it might be in our best interest to wait until next season and let some of the confetti settle.

In my opinion now would be the worst time to buy any Brady cards. The prices are up because of the win but will come back down in a month or so.

yeah jordan cards plummeted when he retired. i bet you wish you would have paid full price for the 1986 fleer 15 years ago, over and over again.

I don't see anything about waiting until retirement. He suggested waiting a "month or so."

I agree with Dusto's take that checking completed sales on eBay should give you an accurate account of present prices. I also agree with James' idea that now is probably not an ideal time to be buying Brady's cards if you are looking at it as a value proposition. As an example, after the Spurs and Tim Duncan won their fifth championship to end the last NBA season his Topps Chrome RC in PSA 10 went to well over $100. Prior to the playoffs leading up to the championship the same cards were trading between $60-80. They are now back between $80-90 with the occasional $100 sale. By the time next season starts I would anticipate his cards will be at least 10% less than they are now. I am in the market for a Brady RC as well but I will wait for the hype to die down a little.

I would sell all that you had and buy them back in 6 months or more. Or when you see that they've dropped a certain percentage that you'd be happy with.
Interested in higher grade vintage cards. Aren't we all. image

Sorry, I didn't realize that Brady retired after the game. image There is a big difference in the cards of a player that has a few years under his belt and a player that is considered by most to be the best there was in their game throughout his career. My memory is not what it used to be but I seem to recall that at one time the PSA 10 86 Fleer Jordan was selling for close to $20,000. Now they are around $10-12,000. Cards of current hot players are very seldom good investments. I'm sure most here can name dozens of "hot" current cards that people paid huge money for that can be had for pennies on the dollar now.
