Many of you are probably familiar with the story of my old 1871 that was 64 when slabbed for me, but 66 after a few more owners.
Always fondly remembered that superb coin.
I've "tried" to like a few in between but no dice. Just wore thin and I got bored and ...well... just no pizzazz.
I've fixed that now.
Just rec'd my NEW 1871 and I am....finally.... happy with the example.
It IS a 64. Strangely, I like it better than my old 66 as it is not dipped and bright. I like the contrast. The fields are P/L although not noted on label.
At any rate, I can now end my quest for ....ANOTHER..... satisfying seated dollar to gaze at.
