I ordered two 1986 to date Littleton Books from Barnes and Nobel. Both came witouthout 2014. One had pages to 2013. the other had pages to 2014. There description says "Coind dates is 1986 - to date" not to 2013 and 2014.What gives with these guys. Can you buy additonal pages with the dates? I dont want blank pages. Not to metnion paying 9.00 - 13.00 plus S&H for each page. This is becomming a rip off. Dansco is up to about 26.00 plus S&H. Wish I would have kept all my books and not gave them away when I sold my ASE sets.
Transactions..

I spoke with my contact at Littleton and the reason they only have the albums up to 2014 is their time machine broke and they could not jump ahead to see when the Mint would stop making them. Seriously ... it's pretty common for current albums to be "to date" and then sell blank pages or, as the dates fill up on the pages, offer complete pages. That's a frustration (and additional expense) of collecting contemporaneous coinage.
You can usually find those spare pages at coin shows at a small discount and you save on shipping.
See http://www.doubledimes.com for a free online reference for US twenty-cent pieces
The first just had all the dates (P&D) listed, just a continuation from the previous last page. Then they decided to do the 4 different 2009 coins, so I had to get a different page, that listed all of these.
Then they changed the reverse, so the memorial series actually ended and they created a Shield reverse album, so I had to get another page that only marked the holes up through 2009 (they are not memorial reverse, but they may as well be in the 1959-2009 album).
Anyone need some Lincoln Cent pages?
Then there is the Whitman folders. My 1975 - date has a last date of 1992, but holes up to last year (I completed all the holes finally even though they went 20 years unmarked)
Just depends on when the Album is printed. I am sure when the Silver Eagle albums were printed, the dates were well in the future.
