Lakeland is a neat city, with neat downtown celebrations and parties many weekends, and has some of the best wild water fowl lakes, in easy walking distance. Lots of very good restaurants, and a vibrant downtown area with pubs, antique shops, and nightlife.
Plenty of good dealers, good deals, and active buyers and sellers, of everything in Numismatics, Currency, Bullion, Certified Coins, Proof and Mint Sets, Modern Commemoratives, Gold and Silver Eagles, and some really neat Paper Americana and Neat Collectibles. No telling what the dealers and collectors throw into the bucket for the Kids, there are always some surprises and happy faces. Collectorama Show dealers are very generous to the youngsters.
Wear your trading hat, stuff your pockets with cash, and bring along some material you want to sell or trade. There are a lot of dedicated dealers to do business with at Collectorama, and right now a lot of fresh material is need and in very great demand.

<< <i> Maybe I will make it this time...always a good show. >>
^ A terrific regional show. An excellent mix of dealers and not limited to the mundane coins I swim in at the typical 'coins only' show. Deals are to be had. I'm always finding neat stuff there that I can't seem to find even at a show like FUN. Collectorama lives up to its name. This show has been worth the drive every time I've attended over the past 20 years.
