Modern game used mail week

I went on a bit of a modern kick the last couple of weeks. The Gehrig card is one of my favorite designs ever. I remember opening some of the 2003 Timeless Treasures and the HOF Materials subset was always my favorite. When I saw this one pop up I had to have it. The Gehrig photo on the card, the color scheme, the pinstriped jersey piece make this one of my favorite cards ever.

Love the gehrig card. The graphic artist did a good job.

I'm usually ambivalent regarding what these companies are doing to game used gear. But if that truly is from a real game used jersey, it's really kind of sad. To think that a beautiful jersey is now cut up in little squares.
