Is there any way to view the old Teletrade prices realized archives?

Used to be able to still get there. Now I get re-directed to the horrific Stacks/Bowers site.

Any of you 'puter wizards have a workaround for this?

No. Forum members, including myself, have posted about this in the past, expressing our frustration.

If a coin ever sold at Teletrade, PCGS CoinFacts will still have it listed under 'auction appearances' of that coin, and you are even still able to see what the coin sold for - but that's it. You cannot access the original TT listing or photos of the coin that sold.

That's a shame, Teletrade auction results were always a very useful way to track pricing, especially for varieties that don't appear in most of the conventional guides.

In case you think he's kidding, the Wayback Machine is actually a website that archives the web every month and has for years. I do not know if it archived teletrade, but supposedly it copies everything. BTW it is a .org non-profit.

edit to add: I guess from the link it did.

Let us know if it works.

fwiw, somewhere in the belly of this beast lies a link that works (or did at one time) that allowed access. i probably bookmarked it but i have s2veral hundred bookmarks at a minimum.

if someone gave it an a+ effort, they could probably find that link. (if it still works)

from what i recall, it was long and odd for an url.

The Wayback Machine has a number of Teletrade auction pages archived, but it does not appear to be all-inclusive. I just tried looking up some old links and Wayback didn't have them.

For whatever it is worth, my recollection is that Teletrade would only show prices realized for 90 days any way.

There was a price guide that you had to log in to use that had over five years of pricing data, you could out in how many days back to search.

I've never had a problem doing an archives search on Stacks.

    Stack's sample search 1812 half

Edit: sample search doesn't cross over to here but the search went back to 1996. (My search, my cookies)
Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.

It's always been a struggle for me. I tried your link to search for all CAC seated halves from 2011 (I sold a coin in that year). It didn't show up. Nor would the system let me look at anything but the first page of seated halves. Any attempt to modify or get to those additional pages resulted in an "error message." Seems to me it still doesn't work right.
