This is why I get upset when my "mint" cards come back PSA 7

I don't mean to knock the listing because it is an incredible collection regardless, but how does an iconic card like this get a grade of PSA 8? The centering is terrible, it is diamond cut and there is obvious wear on the upper right corner at least.

Maybe the card originally came from WIWAG?? They were famous for taking higher grade PSA cases and substituting lower grade cards...

That's a GEM 10 for sure. What are you blind. GEM will grade this a 10+

I wonder if this was an early grade that was reholdered from a first generation slab. The number starting in '0' suggests it was originally graded prior to the half grade being implemented. In any case, no way that card should be an 8.

yes. according to the description the Clemente rookie was recently reholdered in a tamperproof case. this could potentially encourage a buyer to assume that the credibility is on the flip.
