I decided to play the crack and resub game and overall I'm fairly happy:
1 1 23836243 NEAR MINT-MINT+ 8.5 1972 Topps 299 Hank Aaron Card (was a PSA 8)
2 1 23836244 EXCELLENT-MINT 6 1964 Topps 300 Hank Aaron Card (was a SGC 7)
3 1 23836245 NEAR MINT 7 1956 Topps 31 Hank Aaron White Back Card (was a SGC 7.5)
4 1 23836246 NEAR MINT 7 1966 Topps 500 Hank Aaron Card (was a SGC 7)
4 2 23836247 NEAR MINT 7 1966 Topps 500 Hank Aaron Card (was a PSA 7)

My main goal was to get the SGC cards into PSA holders and the grades were what I expected them to be for the 56 and 66. I am disappointed with the 64 though. It looks like an 8 all day long (looks way nicer than the PSA 8 I already have in my collection). It appears that the problem is that the trivia question answer on the back of the card was rubbed off. I contacted PSA before submitting and they did say that a rubbed off back (even without rub marks or scratches) could lower the grade. I was hoping it would come back at least a 7.....lesson learned.
I thought the 72 had a shot at a 9, but will happily take the 8.5. I thought the 66 PSA 7 crackout had a shot at a bump too. It's a lot nicer than the other 66 I submitted.

I think you bought that 72 Aaron from a board member here, correct? I tried to buy it as I knew it would bump also. Congrats on grabbing it. Was a very nicely centered specimen.

Justin, yes I did buy it from a board member. When I saw the picture of the card I wanted it because of how centered it was. Once I got the card in hand I thought it was definitely worth cracking out and submitting again. It's a beautiful card.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
<< <i>That 64 is only a 6? What am I missing. Great looking cards. Congrats. >>
Apparently it's because the trivia question answer is showing. This card looks nicer than a PSA 8 I have so I think it's odd to dock the grade so much, but it is what it is:
