are they worth a shot at " upgrading " if you will as the older green labels ??

    Need to see the coin to tell you if it has a shot at upgrading. The label, whether green, blue, or white, is no indication.

    Agree, need to see the coin to make
    a determination. Personally, I prefer
    to keep it in the older holders !!! image

    That is probably a 4.2 or later holder. Look at this Sample generations thread from a few days ago and let us know what yours matches up to.

    It's a Generation 5 slab.

    There are several possibilities why the coin is still in it. Preference of the owner. Properly graded. Undergraded and owner is oblivious. Overgraded and the owner knows it, etc.

    As mentioned, the coin is what's important.

    Even if that coin upgraded, would it be worth the costs... it would only go up in value a few dollars.

    Or it hasn't seen the light of day since it was slabbed.
