Hello,
My offers below are all-inclusive DELIVERED prices to me - insurance on shipping is at the seller's discretion but the risk lies with the seller as my offers are all-in prices for delivered goods to me.
I use the coinflation.com formula which calculates silver at 0.7203 Troy oz per $1 face value. This weight is uncirculated coinage - the "heaviest" the coin can be. Almost every other buyer uses 0.715 or even less.
I then multiply my premium offered - currently 4% above the current coinflation rate to establish my buy price
I will pay by personal check or money order if you are established, have references, etc. If I do not feel comfortable and we have not done business in the past, I will not send a check to a PO Box. Hope you understand ... Otherwise payment will be through Paypal with buyer and seller protection - the fee is the fee - hence the reason I offer over spot. My list of references is lengthy both on the BST and through numerous national dealers and auction houses - dozens of references available upon request:
LARGE LOTS - NO PROBLEM
SILVER:
* I pay 104% of spot for 90% silver coin. I use Kitco real time pricing and multiply the spot price by 1.04
* I pay Spot + $1.90 for ASE - tubes of uncirculated coins only - no singles
* I pay spot +$1 per Troy oz for all other gov't issued .999 fine silver bullion coins (Maples, Philharmonics, etc.)
* Generic silver bars/rounds - not interested - sorry
* 40% Kennedys or war nickels - not interested - sorry
* Anything else - PM for quote or conversation
GOLD:
* 100% of spot for government issued bullion coins (Canadian Maples, S.A. Kruger's, Austrian Philharmonics, etc.). 1/10 oz. through 1 oz.
* 102% of spot for AGE 1/10 oz through 1/4 oz coins
* 101% of spot for AGE 1/2 oz through 1 oz OR for pre-1933 USA classic gold. I will pay another 1-2% "slab premium" but I am not looking for "rare gold"
* 100-101% of spot for all other foreign fractional gold such as Roosters, Sovereigns, Coronas, Pesos, Francs, etc.
I would also request a 3 day inspection/return privilege which is only to be exercised in the event the delivered coins are damaged, badly cleaned, excessively worn, holed, etc. Unless the goods are damaged, mutilated, altered, suspected as counterfeit, et.al., no such return will ever be requested .. It is merely a safety net to ensure no such goods are delivered.
I expect a price to be locked in upon mutual agreement to do business .. fluctuations in spot after agreed deal are disregarded .. If any party backs out of a deal after a mutual agreement, expect to be blacklisted thereafter - that is the #1 no-no in this business in my book. I always honor price quote and expect the same in return.
