1941-P & 1942-S upgrades for the Washington toner Dansco.

Finding attractively toned Washingtons from the early 1940's is a difficult endeavor. My first 1941 and 1942-S Washies for the toner Dansco were circulated, and I wanted to upgrade them. Here are the upgrades. The old coin is shown first and then the upgrade is shown. It's a little hard to tell, but the upgrade '42-S has a nice blueish green on the periphery on both sides. The upgrade 1941 was imaged by Shane Canup. The other 3 coins were imaged by Bob Campbell. I think they both did excellent jobs. Needless to say, like all good coin junkies, I've started a second Dansco (and indeed a third one), for the coins that got kicked out of the primary Dansco set.

the 42-s looks like a gem too

The Washies from the 30's in Gem condition are worth collecting right now in bargin prices IMHO

Nice upgrades. While it may not be a "rainbow", I like the patina on your new 42-S.
