1887/6-O Morgan Dollar, is this an overdate??

I am going through all of the overdates for the Morgan Dollars

On the 1887/6 Morgan Dollar, there is a line extending from the lower right side of the base of the 7.
The line shows a nice upward sloping curve which is concave inward. When a 6 from an 1886 date punch is overlaid on top, using this line as a guide,
it aligns perfectly, providing validity that this is an overdate.

On the 1887/6-O, there is also a line that starts on the right side of the bottom of the 7, this line angles upward slightly, but goes outward, then goes upward at a steep angle.
When overlaying a 6, it does not come near the curvature of the right side of a 6.

I am writing a article on this with overlays and such, initial findings and instinct point to the 1887/6-O not being an overdate.
I also wrote Leroy with my initial thoughts to see what he thinks.

Curious what others think

If anyone wants to see a pdf of the article when it is done, send me an email, should be done tonight or tomorrow

Thanks
