Telling him I will be bidding on multiple items and that is why I havent paid for the first two I won a few days ago. The next day I get an upaid item case opened against me.. I asked him why and he hasn't responded.. There are two more auctions I want to bid on that end in 1 and 2 days.

also, did you simply tell the seller your intentions or did you formulate your communication in the form of a question, as to asking for permission?
this may help you find your answer.
Are they a major seller, probstein pwcc etc? Because they may not have the time or unwilling to check all the emails and "tailor" different payment plans to different buyers. And keep track of all of these requests. A smaller seller would probably be more willing to wait. And check their emails.
I'm with you, sometimes the shipping fees are significant and combined does save a lot. good luck.

<< <i>This was my first thought as well. I know there are automated settings to open cases, although I couldn't tell you how to access those settings. Perhaps the the setting is set to a low number of days.

It can be set as low as 2 days/48 hours, don't recall where to set it up either, but have received them that quickly.
<< <i>In fact, Probstein allows combining orders for up to 10 days from the first win. I happen to have just asked him that question. >>
That's why Rick is one of the best sellers on eBay. I love winning an auction and then winning another NINE days later and combining shipping!
His auction states.. "If payment has not been received within 7 days, I will file a Failure to Pay Claim with Ebay!" I won the auction on 1/14 and he sent it out accordingly. Ive been on vacation but that's no excuse for not emailing him sooner to alert him to my buying intentions.
I just received an apology that he forgot to turn off the automatic unpaid item claim and requested I pay for what I've won so far and he will adjust shipping according for future wins this week. Sounds amicable to me.
"delayed payment was the case that they gave me"
