PCGS Collector's Club submissions.....

Our hosts received my 4 coin submission one month ago. How much longer before I see grades?

Last year's submission was received, graded, and shipped within 22 days.....

Have they slowed down across all types of submissions?

Regular submission turnaround is shown as 21 business days. With the holidays...I'd think you're getting close. I'm waiting on an economy submission received on 11/26 projecting a 33 day turnaround. I got mine in before Thanksgiving, so a full week of holidays in there slowing mine down. image

You realize this is supposed to be their "busiest" month right? They literally get pallets of monster boxes from large submitters. Last year their was a picture on their facebook page of full 4 pallets of green monster boxes from a submitter at this time of the year.

I think they should have a separate place somewhere that just does bullion so the main PCGS in Ca. can do real coins only.

I just had one take 2 months. Sometimes, depending on the coins, it takes longer. They always show up, just look forward to have something to look forward to. image

I sent in some crossover coins in late Nov and I received the images and grades last week. Almost two months later, I agree with "all over the place" for the Dec and Jan with all of the holidays off and major coin shows going on.

I agree with Dimeman they should have a separate place for real coins.

Bankerbob56, I understand your frustration. Waiting on results is worse than, as a child, waiting to open presents on Christmas morning.

I sent three submissions logged in on Dec. 30, 2014. One was express and shipped back on Jan. 7. The second was a regular submission and grades posted this evening. The third is a reholder, has not shipped yet, but Phil sent Truviews on Jan. 15.

I have been very satisfied with turnaround times, considering we had New Years and a major show during that time.

I agree completely with Dimeman. Collector coins minted before 1965 should hit the grading rooms in some fashion that encourages collectors to submit more. Seeing pallets of coins on the loading dock posted on Facebook just makes people conclude that the delay isn't worth the grief.

The Moderns and made for collectors widgets shouldn't get equal treatment.

Have that stuff graded at an alternative location that has it's own pipeline. Maximize profit and efficiency, everybody wins.

If you do what you always did, you get what you always got.
