After a delay, my new purchases from the FUN show are fully listed on my website. Please take a moment to examine coins similar to this wonderful, icy blue 1892 Barber dime in a PCGS MS65/CAC holder. Below is the description-
Most folks know I attempt to carry a varied assortment of Barber and Seated coinage and this can be a difficult quest when so many of these coins are aesthetically challenged. Thankfully, there is the occasional true, unadulterated gem that crosses my path and these coins are purchased immediately and enthusiastically. Such is the case with this 1892 Barber dime. The date itself is fairly generic given that this was the first year of production of Barber coinage, but the preservation and eye appeal of this particular coin is off the charts. The coin has primarily white centers with sparkling, vibrant and gloriously alive shades of blue toning surrounding the inner design elements. This is truly a case of a generic coin possessing rare eye appeal. Recent auction records are all over the place for this issue, which reflects the variable nature of the quality purchased within the grade. Low end pieces that should be run away from hover around $500 while superb coins rise to over $900, but this one will not be pushed to its limits with respect to price. $750.00
