Baseball strike...

What the heck are we going to do if these guys decide to strike.
This is the first season I have followed since the last strike. I can't believe this. I was so upset last time I boycotted season games for 8 years. Not the playoffs or the series just season games. We need to get rid of Sellig. He and the owners are waiting to send this before President Bush and guess what? He is an ex owner. I say we all band together as fans and do a fan strike. No games or memorabilia until they give us what we want.

  • Yeah, I'll be pissed if there is a stoppage this time. Last time I sided with the owners (of course, I didn't go back for years and still don't attend or watch nearly as many games), this time I think the players have some good points (mostly I'm not thrilled with this whole contraction thing) Regardless, if the owners could show some self control (are you listening Texas?)

I agree that Selig has to go though. He's trying to run the sport into the ground. The question is why. What would he get for it?

baseball players, are, and always will be, more talented than basketball players...let's see you try and hit a 101 MPH fastball from Randy Johnson, got less than a second to determine where the pitch is located, if it's a ball or strike, and to get your bat on the ball...and fielding isn't the easiest thing either, try jumping up the wall trying to take away a home run...
