Like two years ago I bought a raw Marino and sent it to BGS. It came back as questionable authenticity. I didn't think they made fake Marinos lol

You didn't think someone would fake a card that sells for $1,800 in gem mint condition?

I love how they used Pronstein123's photo for the auction!

Well then why not focus on faking a card that sells for $5,000 (or more) in gem mint and maybe like $2,000 in mint, Instead of faking one that sells for $1,800 in gem mint and $120 in mint?

I bought the Marino card expecting it to grade around a BGS 8 - 8.5, it was not a superb looking example by any means. If it was very sharp and mint looking the questionable authenticity would have made more sense.

Same reason why people rob the corner liquor store instead of the headquarters of Bank of America. The criminal can make some money with less scrutiny and attention. Raw Marino cards that look mint can go for $25-$30. I guarantee you that the eBay sales listings for those are chock full of fakes. And hardly anyone notices.

It's just the way you posted it it seemed as though it was a fake Claudell Washington card and not a HOF card that brings in good money.

    To the seller:

Hi, can I get a copy of the back of the holder, I would like to verify the PSA hologram on the back with my special decoder which translates the serial number on front..

Now if I could only find my special decoder image

Collecting unopened 80's boxes and graded packs
I may be hoarding too much 80's junk wax but I like it!
