French Medal King Louis 16th - Reproduction?

This looks odd but I though I would post here for the experts. Medal is about the size of a nickel but very thin weighing only about 1.1 grams. I am assuming this is a reproduction but I thought I should post to get confirmation.

    looks to be a Jeton... I am not sure whether it is genuine. I suspect it likely is okay
