Looks to have prooflike fields. But at some point, the US Mint made the transition of striking coins for circulation with the SMS working dies. What they did to those dies in preparation, if they did anything. I've read, they were acid treated or I have suggested they used less coining pressure. The sharp details of the letters and a wide rim would be the difference. One thing for certain, they sure didn't change out the dies too often with the poor quality in strike/coins we have seen. My coin has somewhat dullish surfaces but an early strike with exceptional perfect steps. A coin top registry collectors can only dream about.
