Funny, but yes the USPS is miles better than the other options price wise and handling wise. The USPS is self funded and "loses money" mainly due to political figures wanting to privatize the thing, fortunately it's a constitutionally established service. I won't get into a political debate on a numismatic forum, but this can all be googled to see what's actually going on. Also, FedEx and UPS make use of the USPS when the "final mile" is not profitable.

I have been waiting on 2 packages since mid December from Europe. According to tracking they have not left the continent. I would rather have items than a refund.
I had a package a few weeks ago that bounced back and forth between New York and Amsterdam a few times....it looks like they need to look into what's going on there.

Shipping by any carrier other than USPS means 3x (or more) the cost so I'm happy to use them when possible. Less pesky paperwork too.
