That's one heck of a Great Toning Recipe ! Just misplace it between some papers on top of a CD player in a closet for a few years and there ya go!

Here are details: the CD player was plugged in and the power on. There were a couple pieces of blank typing paper on top of the CD player and the coin toned on the side touching the paper. I think it could have been there for 5 years. It was quite a surprise to see the toning that occurred.
