NYINC short report

The professional preview was a lot of fun today. I met up with Zohar and EVP early for breakfast then we made for the opening. It's kind of nice having room to move around the show but there did seem to be a pretty good group of people. I picked up a copy of British Commemorative Medals by Eimer, and an Eschenbach illuminated magnifier, then an 1825 PF 65 Shilling for a reasonable price, currently the only one graded, and much scarcer than the 1826. EVP and I stopped by the Baldwin booth where EVP was able to get us a preview of their next list, and I bought a Geo. III pattern 1/2 d., and an 1839 Vicky proof 1/2 d.

We then retired to MrEurekas table around 5 for wine and cheese.

No pic's until next week, but I'm already out of money so it's going great.
