Not only does this clown claim to have 9 T206 Wagners, he is charging $25K for shipping. LMAO (and reporting the auction)

Give him some credit, his eBay ID tells potential buyers how they should treat the listing. He lives in the same Canadian province that I do but does not ship to Canada.

I think the shipping fees are fair compaired to this 1943 copper? penny. Shipping for this is $1,000,000.

Anyone know what the going rate on a real copper 1943 penny is? I was actually talking with someone today about this but didn't know an approximate value. I think I remember as a kid about 20 years ago they went for ~25k?

I bet anything that the 1943 penny will stick to a magnet. That shows that it would be a normal steel penny with a copper coating. I had one of those years ago.

Not as ironic as when it turns out to be a beautiful day when you get married and you really wanted an outdoor wedding but were worried it would rain on your wedding day so you had it inside a church and then there was a malfunction with the fire sprinklers during the ceremony and everyone got soaked. But a little ironic nonetheless.

I asked if I would get a tracking number with the $25,000 shipping, and got this reply:

Crazy to think he did not get any bids on these

Does anyone else think that he was trying to avoid getting nailed on a fraud charge by not stating the Wagner's were real, and by the buyer assuming the shipping charge he makes his money and cannot be nailed by Ebay or authorities? He never claims the card is real or authentic so there is nothing fraudulent there, and the buyer assuming the shipping charges there is nothing that can be done about it.

Based on his response, I'm thinking the main motivation was to get around eBay's selling limits. He's probably limited to $5K a month in sales and wants to sell these for more
