Yet another shoutout to BBCE

I decided to start working on filling out my 1979 Topps cello box (9 packs in mostly Braves showing) as one of my collector goals for 2015. I picked up two packs from Steve and they came in today. I'm checking them out and one of the packs has Reggie Jackson on the back. Thumbs up once again for an exceptional buying experience!

    I had a box wrapped by Steve a little while ago. In the middle of the box, one pack had a seal opened, like someone opened one pack and put it back. Steve replaced it at no cost and sealed the box for me.

    The box was not expensive, but the cost of the pack was more than I was paying him to wrap the box.

    I should have given him public credit earlier. Thanks for posting this to remind me.

    When I told Steve about my 1989 Topps Hockey project, he told me that he happened to have several boxes that appeared to have water damage.

    He didn't feel comfortable selling them, but knowing what I was going to do with them (open them) he sold them to me for a ridiculously low price.

    Thought it was thoughtful of him to a) keep those packs out of the general public's hands and b) help me with my project. Some 9s from my first sub came from those boxes image

    I agree, BBCE is easy to work with. I bought some PSA Blackhawks pucks and photos as Christmas gifts this year for my wife and daughter. I placed the order over the phone about 4pm and it was to my home within 36 hours.

    Cannot say enough good things about Steve and BBCE. I had ordered some items right before Christmas and was interested in a few other cards as well we were discussing. They made an honest mistake in communication and a few cards had already been sold. They provided excellent service and offered some options on my current purchase with them at the time which was not only very fair but a nice gesture on their part. Next time I need to place an order they will get my business again. In a day and age where people have gone backwards BBCE does an outstanding job!
