Advice on selling low pop card

On a recent sub I was lucky enough to pop a gem mint 77 Walton. It's a pop 4 and the last sale listed in VCP was in 2009, so it's not a price I'd be comfortable with using as a guide. I want to sell this card but do not sell on eBay and don't have a good idea on where to price it. It carries the second highest weight in the 77 set with a 7 and 4 of the top 5 registries that I can view all have it in a 9, so it's 7 points of upgrade.
I've considered listing it on the BST with a best offer but not sure I'll get the eyes. Thus I am also wondering if it's okay to reach out to registry owners seeking offers. Is that poor form since I don't have a firm price in mind, only a range of what I'd accept and looking for offers?
I'm not sure how competitive that registry is, but with this grade and associated weight, it could provide a move in the standings, and the offers I'd be willing to take might be a good savings over me letting it go to auction.
Curious as to how you'd list and if reaching out in that manner would be poor form.
Appreciate any input.
Thanks in advance
Jim

Very nice!
If not do the higher priced BIN with best offer and see if you get any bites.
If neither of these two work let that baby fly.
Since Bill Walton is a star you might get some people who just want the card and end up going strong for it in a straight auction.

Thanks Guys. Nice catch Davis. Missed that but it's been a few weeks since I checked.
That surely helps put things in perspective.
