Here's a link to a moving tribute from Rich Eisen. They were teamed together on ESPN for many years.

Terrible news. Someone who was (and will always be) obviously well-loved by all who knew him, gone way too soon.

Thanks for sharing that video, Dennis. I wasn't a fan of Stuart's style, but the man was an icon and anybody who dies that young, icon or bum, should be mourned. I've been surprised how much his death has affected me today.

What a shame - I enjoyed him on ESPN, and had the pleasure of meeting him when I was on an episode of "Stump the Schwab" a number of years ago. He told me jokingly on national TV to "get a life" in regards to my baseball card collection - and I loved it! RIP...

He changed it up when it came to reporting on a sporting event in a good way and when it needed it. Thanks for everything Stuart.

I'm so glad to see such an outpouring of affection for Stuart Scott. He deserves it. RIP.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

He gave a very moving touching speech that included his daughters in this year ESPYs.

It's worth looking up. He was given the Jimmy V award. Which was another great speech that still brings a tear. The circumstances under which they occurred so very unfortunate.
Interested in higher grade vintage cards. Aren't we all. image
